Hello, hello!
Thank you to everyone cheering us on and keeping up with Boyband Hell updates!

I'm so proud of what everyone on our team has created and can't wait to publish our work for the world to see!

We've been ready to launch for a while now with a thoroughly tested game that works perfectly in closed test. Unfortunately, Google Play console keeps rejecting our build, citing the game doesn't launch which none of our testers have been able to recreate. Now we're in contact with folks from Google hoping to resolve this.

Even though we're not out yet, here's a draft trailer update for you all to enjoy for now!

How adorable is this couple that came to the Boyband Hell booth at Toronto Night Market early July?!

They giggled and pointed at Connor and Blue, saying it was them! Hehe so wholesome. Peep our montage video here of folks from the market.

It was amazing to be able to meet  internet friends and new people, so fun to see them react to the game!

This has been such an honour to showcase the work of such a talented team, and we're doing everything we can to get through and launch!

From what we gathered from other android devs, what we're facing is a common issue on the platform of getting false negatives. Even though it feels inaccessible, I assume the goal is to prevent viruses and keep the platform safe. 

Initially Google Play Console cited problems with our icon and other issues that didn't exist, which resolved by themselves just by updating with the same build and pushing for review again.

They actually sent us an automated survey for app approval AFTER suspending us when we tried to submit more times.All of our appeals have gotten automated responses that don't address our concerns at all, and we're looking to talk to humans about this. We've sent over our ticket number and looking forward to hearing back!

I'm grateful for everyone who helped out and offered advice, we're doing our best in the circumstances!
It's really just such a shame we had to postpone the livestream with Qweerty and other exciting launch things we've been prepping.
